Jolt SEO is a freelance SEO consultancy based in Leeds in the UK. A professional SEO company, run by me Taesha Glasgow, I use SEO techniques to get your website more organic traffic from Google.
I work with a small number of clients on retainer basis every month. I also provide comprehensive SEO audits and hourly consulting services.
I do not accept a client and then start throwing a bunch of low quality blog comments and social bookmarks at the site.
Every business is different and every SEO marketing plan is customised based on your business and industry.

In the discovery phase, I learn about your business, your competitors and your industry.
First, through a combination of my discovery questionnaire and my kick off call with you, I find out where you are now and where you want to be.
What is your unique value proposition? What are the short term and long term goals for your business? What has held you back in the past and where do you excel?
Next, I conduct website and analytics audit to identify technical issues which might be affecting your progress. In my technical site audit, I review everything from your site speed to the names of your images.
Do you have special parameters in your URLs? Are there redirect chains which need to be addressed? Over one hundred independent factors are reviewed and recommendations for improvement are outlined.
I work with you and your developer to make the technical changes necessary to get your website back on track.
A very important part of my audit is your site link analysis. I inspect the links pointing to your website. Has a previous SEO company damaged your link profile with very low quality links? This is the most common reason why businesses seek my help.
The final part of the discovery phase is thorough research of your competitors and your industry landscape. I analyse the quantity and quality of their inbound links. What type of content are they creating and how often?
I also take a high level view of their social media activity. All of this information helps me to develop a complete strategy to help you outrank and “outconvert” your competition.
In the planning phase, I use all of the data I have collected to create a customised plan for your business. I find out about your buyer’s age, location, interests and more to develop several personas. With this information, I can establish the needs of your buyers at the different stages of your funnel.
Then, I analyse your current content assets. Do you have an active blog with valuable content? Do you have other content which can be repurposed or expanded?
Next, I build a content strategy for the first stage of your campaign. This includes a content calendar so you can track what to post, the topics targeted and the distribution channel.
Using my keyword research, I map keywords to specific pages on your website. Keywords with buying intent are mapped to product and service pages. Keywords with informational intent are mapped to blog and resource pages.
If there are any keywords where you rank on the second or third pages, I mark them as high priority to get momentum going in your campaign.
The next stage in the planning phase is the creation of the link prospecting plan. Most of my link building is centered around valuable content and influencer outreach. I outline a schedule for a steady link acquisition from a variety of sources.
This includes broken link building, guest posts, image attribution and several more methods. All of this information is compiled to form your campaign strategy.
The execution phase lasts for the remainder of your campaign. In this phase, all plans are launched, monitored and tweaked.
I work with your developers to make the adjustments uncovered by my technical analysis. Your content is developed and promotion deployed via social media and influencer outreach. The link building campaigns are executed.
At the end of every month, I will provide a report showing progress against the agreed KPIs.
Here’s the deal. The process above is not for every business. If you do not want to seriously invest in gaining more clients from organic search, we will not be a good fit.
If you believe you can achieve great results from SEO services which cost $99 per month, you will be disappointed.
Think about it, if your business makes thousands of dollars per month, why would a professional double or triple your revenue for less than the cost of dinner for two at a restaurant?
